Lal Kitab Dasha

Endpoint POST https://starsapi.com/api/v3/vedic/lal-kitab/dasha

Returns two parallel 35-year Lal Kitab dashas plus the 36-year Bhav Chakra. Both dashas share the same ring and the same fixed 9×3 antardasha table (Arun Sanhita 1952 p.10); each mahadasha divides into three equal antardashas, and all periods carry birth-anchored start_date/end_date across up to three cycles (ages 1–105, via cycles).

dasha_saturn_start — fixed-age system. The chakra always begins with Saturn at age 1: Saturn 6, Rahu 6, Ketu 3, Jupiter 6, Sun 2, Moon 1, Venus 3, Mars 6, Mercury 2. Identical skeleton for every chart.
dasha_hora_based — birth-hora system. The same ring, but the first mahadasha is set by the birth-hora planet (birth_info.birth_hora_planet).

The birth-hora planet is computed from the actual local sunrise/sunset (Swiss Ephemeris), not clock hours. Day blocks run from sunrise (Jupiter 0–2h, Sun 2–4h, Moon 4–5h, Mars 5–7h, Venus 7–10h, Mercury 10h→sunset); night is Rahu (sunset → +2h), Saturn (sunset+2h → sunrise−2h) and Ketu (sunrise−2h → sunrise). A birth before sunrise falls in the previous astrological night. Sending latitude/longitude enables this; without them the hora falls back to a legacy clock method.

Lal Kitab uses house numbers only — houses are counted from the Lagna, and each house number carries its fixed Kaal-Purusha identity (house 1 = Aries-sthaan … house 12 = Pisces-sthaan). Zodiac sign labels are deliberately absent from Lal Kitab responses; planets are exalted, debilitated, or in their pakka ghar purely by house number. Doctrine in this namespace is sourced against the original Lal Kitab editions (1939–1952) and Arun Sanhita.
